Should I melt my Aurora MR Package

Should I melt the Aurora MR AC Starter Package to get the Aurora LN Package?
They are currently both $45 and I have already received the 5,000 UEC reward for the Arena Commander Pass in the starter pack.
I don't think I will lose the reward and from what I can gather the LN is a better ship.
Is there any downside to doing this?
