Playing Sleeping Dogs right now. An oldie but absolutely a goodie. How have i let this gem slip bye?

When I first saw it I was like: "a GTA clone with no guns? and I hate fighting games... bah humbug, I'm not playing that!"
I don't even know how it got into my steam library, but a year later for some reason or other I booted it up.
First 30 mins I was struggling with controls, and having a very hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it's absolutely not a GTA clone. More like the OG Mafia 1, which is one of my favorite games of all time.
20 hours of gameplay later I was looking at 100% guides lol
I was very wrong in my judgment and I'm glad I stayed with it until it clicked.
