Ok, I'm completely jelly. I have always wanted to tour the food and entertainment scene of Japan and other Asian countries. I hope you did not waste a minute.

I'm quite a bit jelly. My wife wants to go to the Sapporo Snow Festival. In Hokkaido. In February. I'm from Arizona, so that's pretty much the exact opposite of what I'm used to. I hear rumors there is this frozen, white, slushy form of water on the ground there. Sounds like witchcraft or devilry of some sort.

Wasn't allowed to waste a second. My brother wasn't happy unless we walked at least 25km a day, and even with that we only properly explored Shinjuku and Shibuya when in Tokyo. As for the food scene in Japan, it's like no other; they've got special, huge ass grapes which cost as much as a bottle of vodka or more for a bunch, everyone is super friendly and treat you like royalty.

Hokkaido was one of the few places we didn't get to; we went as far as Karuizawa in Nagano; in a 1.5 hour train ride we got from 32*C (89.6*F) to 12*C (56*F) so I can only imagine how cold it gets up there.
