So Ryzen 7 1800X would deliver performance quite similar to i7 6950X for third of the price.
Interesting, certainly interesting.

i got 2 1 year old xeons for 50 bucks each, listed Price 2000, from ebay :P

they throw them away, all they want is the new Version.... giving them 10-30% more Performance each, but for what Price.....

Buying xeons is clever - large companies throw them away like I throw away empty cans of beer. You can make great gaming machines cheap as chips. They won't ever be as fast as the fastest gaming pc but for 90% off new price - who gives a shit, let the rest of the suckers waste £1k on the latest core i9 super black edition.

It seems that Intel is worried about this new launch - they are dropping prices on i5 and i7 chips about 30% or so.

Hooray AMD! Price drops for everyone! Competition is a beautiful thing. :)
