Yeesh, can't really say i'm a fan of this. I get it's an easy revenue stream front stupid whales but this is toeing the line.
Especially since 50 bucks is a lot of money. I got the Witcher 3 + all DLC for 20 in the summer sale. CIG isn't selling bases, just a plot of land. They already have the procedural tech done allegedly, so this isn't one of the "self funded" ships that pays for its own development, they're just selling.....land. Not even land, just some protections and NPC cops that might come around.
Who wants to live in the UEE anyway?

Something to think about, If all 15530 Testicans bought an 8x8 plot and all claimed on the same planet our combined claim would be 993920 square kilometers or 383754.657 square miles. about the same size as Texas and Colorado combined
And if each TESTie maxed out at 10 claims each..

I dont see why not, it costs them nothing really. so on day one all the prospectors will have to be in fill swing to scout for a place. Or, we just buy so much land some part of it is bound to be good.
Sounds like i could reasonable crash land from orbit and be reasonably close to TEST owned land then..
