Im getting 10 down, not bad speed considering im only connected via wireless to my landlord's internet, I keep considering getting my own tho, i could go VDSL and get 30 down, thats about as fast as it gets in NZ (unless youre lucky enough to live in an area that has fibre

OK, so the hotel currently has 18mb down and 3mb up, the stupid effing router limits each connection to 2mb down, even if no one else is on but me. The new owner is a big Star Craft and Diablo fan, so I think we're getting an upgrade...with NEW routers(no limiting). My issue is we are about 30 minutes away from Denver, in the mountains, so getting the good stuff is out of the question. I hate Comcast.

I Think he has them switched. Unless it's 20Kbps up, and 2mbps down.... which is entirely possible in the Monopoly that is US Telecom providers. The motto of ISPs in the internet is "If you don't like it, what are you gonna do? Move?"

I've moved to a new place, got 200 Mbit, unlimited cap for 70 euro a month. I think that its as high as you can go in belgium for a regular consumer.
Finally will be able to download PTU patches

The Star Citizen servers suck man. I download at 25MB/s on steam. Only at 6MB/s when I download Star Citizen patches.

i guess that 6mb/sec is still ok. 25gig in 70 minutes, given that we have to wait ages for each patch, +-1h doesn't really matter.

Yea. better than nothing I guess. But when origin, uplay and steam can take advantage of my whole bandwith it's a little disappointing.
