Holy shit 2020 for Squadron 42? sigh..................................... I hope I am alive when SC goes live.
2018 zipped on through thanks to these quarterly releases. If this keeps up, the alpha & beta of SQ42 will be here "Soon (tm)"
Yup 2018 flew by. And as long as we continue getting these updates in SC, it'll be enough to keep us busy until SC is finished up. Not to mention there is Anthem, The Division 2 and Dying Light 2 coming out in 2019 for those interested. :)

I am SUPER happy to see this!! I expected Q4 2019, but I can easily live with Q2 2020 :D
farther than expected but seems fine imo. the big downside of drawing it out so far is the expectations are going to be really really high. on the flip side i kinda hope this is them under promising and over delivering as far as the date goes.
On the SQ42 roadmap it mentions it going into alpha and beta in 2020. I am presuming that that will be in house testing rather than backers.
That makes me think that SQ42 release will be July - Dec 2020 (if all goes well). I seem to recall CIG saying that your game play in SQ42 will impact on you when you start SC.
Does anyone else recall the that quote from CIG? Although you do not have to play SQ42 first or at all.
