really not sure how I feel about it. as the cap said they are track pads SORT OF. to be specific they are haptic trackpads with tactile sensors. this makes them a little better than your average track pad. they vibrate and respond to pressure to simulate analogue controls. Though very interesting I feel this is a very poor implementation of the technology. the price point is pretty good for a wireless controller and if vulkan ever does finally take off (linux api equivalent of directx) then I will definitely be owning a steambox. as for the rest of the controllers component steam has been very selective on who get to actually try the damned thing and so far its been a bunch of bloggers without a technological bone in there bodies and they have so far withheld a data sheet or any detailed specifications.
