CIG's Stella Fortuna event is up and running.

Looks like the Fortuna Ultimate Pack (with Green Hammerhead), Fortuna Legends Pack (with the Connie Emerald), and a solo Hammerhead are the bigger deals in the sale.

No new concepts.

So I scrapped together a couple of store credits and got the pack with the Phoenix Emerald.
To my surprise it comes with a Revel&York Hangar.

All my other rides, including the Ironclad and the Merchantman, come only with a Selfland hangar.
So what's different?
Do I get a glass of Champaign every time I call my ship?
Or do I get access to valet parking?

There are many answer to this question, and most end with the proper name "Roberts".

A legitimate question could be raised as to if the ship is worth it, and I have to begrudgingly say yes. The Phoenix is a very capable mission ship as the game exists right now, can fit a Nursa, has good QT range and a dangerous snub for that fighter jock in the party. It may be the best general purpose ship in the game.

The fact that it has a bar makes it almost mandatory for TEST operations, or at least TEST meetings lol.

Nothin's really different. Sales like Stella Fortuna are not really for long-term backers. The stuff is the same, except maybe for a few special paints or goodies other than ships. The 'Ultimate' package might be 'new', but with older ships repackaged. The value of the 'minor' sales events like this is mostly to let the CCU-interested crowd catch up on a missing ship or two while having a few drinks to celebrate the coming holiday. Cheers!

Well regardless of the perks that go along with the Bling you have bestowed upon yourself I am raising a glass to your good fortunes.
Cheers right back at you :o7:

As in the question of who is the real "Dread Pirate" ?
After all, that name comes up a lot if you ask people who amassed the most wealth by relieving harmless spacers of their hard earned cash.
Oh well, I always wanted the Phoenix and now I melted 2 ships I never fly into one I can't fly.
Because I still can't access my Hangar in game.
Curse you Dread Pirate and your datardly crew for leaving me stranded on Orbituary!

On that note: What's life like working at CIG?

Actually, I used SF to pickup an LTI Emerald Connie Phoenix which was one of the few ways to pick up an LTI Phoenix. Of course, that was when they had the Emerald Archimedes and the Emerald Ursa for sale with LTI, so it didn't cost 3k to get an "expensive" ship. (I can't believe that at one point in time, SC's most expensive ships (outside the capitals) were 350-400 range and people STILL thought that was too much, imagine them seeing today's prices back then...
