I DID see the Med-Turtle! The real question is: Will it fit up the ass of my Galaxy? And; How much coconut oil does it take to achieve?
Aah! I shouted to my mate its a med turtle but then I wasnt sure and we thought it was another ship and I was talking crap!!!

I AM NOT MADDDDDDDD

Damn, the MAD Turtle is real...
PRO: A med-bed and no more useless chair in the middle.
CONTRA: Med-bed in the fr*gg*n midddle?! No more shower, no bed no nothing? Why?

Okay, I get that bed in the middle so the doctors can move around and all. But I doubt you'll do many complicated operations in the battlezone. This is a medical transport after all. And if you got rid of the lockers AND the bed and shower you could at least put in 2 of those and keep the middle clear for once.
At least give us a couple of jumpseats for the medics or something.
And a top mounted 2x S5 turret while you're at it.
Fot health reasons...

What advantage does it have over the C8R?
It is ludicrously worse than the Cutlass red, so that can't be the comparison here. Redlass has more beds, living space for the crew, better weapons, better everything.
This can therefore only be a competitor for the Pisces.
Since there is no functional difference between T2 and T3 beds, why spend so much more for an ambulance with no clear advantage over the existing one.
Both only have one bed, so no advantage there.
No crew accommodations, so no advantage there.
Is it faster? Does it have more range?
Armor is a rumor that has never materialised so far, not even tier 0.0001, so does some esoteric "more armor" justify spending so much more?

I wanted the Medipin to replace my C8R (until 2029, when they finally deliver my Apollo), but I can't see what the Medipin does better than the Medces.
So please, those that have the time to extensively test the red puck, kindly tell me what justifies this over the C8R?

Actually no, quite the opposite, the Medpin is slower in SCM and less agile then the Medces (according to Erkul DPS data from PTU).
Still, while the armor is not coming in the near future (if ever), the Medpin is way more resistant then the Medces: we are talking about 2xS2 shield VS 1xS1 and 168.201 Hull HP vs 6.250 HP... is a 260% increase and is not neglectable.

Plus the Medpin has more quantum fuel then the C8R, like more then double.

The real consideration on to decide if the Medpin is a worth upgrade should be based on the use someone intended for it.
If the intention is to use the ship just for a respawn point inside a larger ship or a mobile spawn point for bunker mission I don't see any reason the Medpin will be worth instead of a C8R, but if the intention is to use it for actual medical gameplay that potentially involve getting where you don't want to be to get the injured client on board in that case extra shield and HP could make the difference.

Slower I can live with, and I am such a lousy combat pilot that it won't ever matter how many shields and how much armor a ship has ;)
More range though, that looks like something that is relevant to my interests.

Honestly it checks most of the box's for me as a casualty Evac. Especially with the death of a spaceman game mechanics coming soon. That and it fits in a Polaris. So it means it can be taken to the front lines provide Evac in a hot zone or rescue during a fleet battle.
