Absolutely! There are four recruits here and Barriss is the only one I’m especially familiar with. For those unfamiliar, Barriss is the Jedi Padawan who betrayed the Order and framed Ahsoka for murder, leading to Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order. She thus arguably became the only Jedi to stay true to the Jedi code when the rest of the Order was deceived by hubris, etc. Ahsoka is singled out as an exemplar of the Light, later known as a “Paragon”, signified by the fact she is able to cleanse the hate stained red light sabres of the Sith and turn them white.
This is all the real story behind the dramatic sequence of events set in motion by Order 66. It is arguably the most complex time of upheaval in tens of thousands of years in Republic history.
So yeah, gimme some of that!
full disclosure: I have an ffg Shistavanen Shadow Sentinel character from this time period who is an Inquisitor Ex-patriot and hunts Inquisitors. So this is all Uber-cool for me.

Journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire through the eyes of two warriors on divergent paths — Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth and former Jedi Barriss Offee. Like the first season following Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, Tales of the Empire focuses on previously untold events in the lives of the featured characters. The trailer teases that we’ll learn how a young Morgan Elsbeth navigates the expanding Imperial world towards a path of vengeance, while former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly changing galaxy. The choices they make will define their destinies.
Plus, the key art features Thrawn and the Fourth Sister, General Grievous ready for battle, Darth Vader, the Grand Inquisitor and other new and familiar characters including Wing and the Nightsisters.

The talented voice cast includes Diana Lee Inosanto (Morgan Elsbeth), Meredith Salenger (Barriss Offee), Rya Kihlstedt (Lyn, aka Fourth Sister), Wing T. Chao (Wing), Lars Mikkelsen (Thrawn), Jason Isaacs (Grand Inquisitor) and Matthew Wood (General Grievous).
Dave Filoni created the series, is supervising director and executive producer along with Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. Josh Rimes serves as co-executive producer and Alex Spotswood is the senior producer.

Looks fun. There’s some great opportunity here for a face off against Barriss Offee and Ahsoka. Guess we’ll see. These are just Filoni filling in the blanks for the fans, so it’s just the sort of place to find some resolution.

That looks pretty good. I liked the Tales of the Jedi run, so here's hoping this series is fun. I'd love to see a "Tales of the ancient Sith" series. A lot of interesting stuff going on back then
