So when I was talking about streaming and other such things, the suggestion of doing a cooking blog/series/thing came up (since I cook a lot (Italian American)). Anyway, Wykstrum recommended it be called the title (Taste TEST) so I figured I would start this off with something pretty insane.
There is an Italian tradition called the Feast of the 7 fishes. Basically, it's a multi-dish/course dinner.
SO! Without wasting more time, lets begin.
Here is the initial menu that we printed off (for the fun of it basically, we didn't have that many people.)
So, right off the bat we were supposed to have tuna and capers (which we somehow lost the tuna, so we used salmon instead) and whipped cod, both as dips.
Followed by a salmon salad with feta
Shrimp skewers.
Lobster ravioli with San Marzano tomato sauce
Seafood stew (salmon, anchovies, etc.)
A palette cleanser, cranberry ice
Finished off with my grand-mothers cheesecake recipe topped with cherries.
Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and enjoy lots of drinks. Be safe!
Also @honcho12 , your move.
