TEST Gaming Rig 001 funding drive now open

The time has come to ascend beyond the bundled PC build that can not play Star Citizen and stream at the same time.

What will I do with this PC?

My current PC will be perfect for encoding video and streaming, this new PC will be my dedicated gaming rig.

In recent streaming attempts, I was getting horrible frame rates in GTAV and Star Citizen as my lower end AMD system struggled to play the game and stream it at the same time.

You all thought I just sucked as a pilot, but I blame the choppy frame rate!

With a dedicated gaming rig, I can provide a better quality stream and content for TEST.

Also, many members are embarrassed to hang out with me because my current rig does not fit their high standards.

After discussing this with a few of you, as suggested, the donation drive for a dedicated gaming rig has begun!

I have been told that a better computer will not make me a better player, but I choose to ignore that.

This may be something you may want to discuss with RussianJ first. ;) If anyone's tried it it's probably him. I do know he's mentioned that he uses the radiator on his PC to produce some sort of homemade product he calls Vodka.

Yes yes.. the Iron Man rig is nice and all; but Montoya needs a test themed rig. Thinking the test logo on the front, on the side a epic image of me, and instead of a graphic on the top of the case a high-end cup holder. Testies do not spill drinks and have no worries of spilling on the gaming rig.... okay bad idea. But keep the test logo and epic image of me ;)

LOL wow didn't realize he had a $9k build now. Water cooling has really gotten even more high end even after all these years. Not to mention the insane hardware already in that build.
