Water parts are expensive as can be. My main loop runs about $1200 or so then secondary at around $700 more. Secondary stream rig is going to get some water soon as well.

If you want maximum speed, minimum noise or lower temps AND shrug at the notion of dropping huge numbers, custom water may be for you!

LOL wow didn't realize he had a $9k build now. Water cooling has really gotten even more high end even after all these years. Not to mention the insane hardware already in that build.

Yeah, but $4k is used on graphics cards and process. Way overboard but it looks purdy.

it's a little bit cheaper (not much but a little) but for ease of use it comes with 7 fans preinstalled in the proper configuration and will cool your computer amazingly well while not adding to the headache of you having to install them and align them yourself. Also they are crazy quiet i have built a couple of these in the last month. I prefer the red one myself :)

Thats not too bad for under $100. My only concern is the quality of those fans, 7 of them at this price? I dont want it sounding like a jet plane at take off.

That's what I'm saying I bought two in the last month and they are amazingly quiet, they were way higher quality than I expected and both were great builds :)

Here's a picture of the blue one I made for a church's multi projector set up.
excuse the quality of the pics, they are not so good. Also the wiring at the point this was taken is a nightmare and not complete but you get the idea, the case is fairly large and has plenty of room and fans!

Go Phateks or Corsair they seem like the best these days. Or one of the Antec silent cases. Wall mount could be pretty nice thought... ;)

The time has come to ascend beyond the bundled PC build that can not play Star Citizen and stream at the same time.

I aim to make a lot more video content, where I can play the game and record commentary at the same time, get more live streams going and generally be able to do all things I need to do for this community that much better!

After discussing this with a few of you, as suggested, the donation drive for a dedicated gaming rig has begun!

Not sure what seth has but its probably caselabs. My case was aroun 500 or 600 i think.

When computer become sentient and want to fap, this'll be their porn. Google them ;) I will donate when I can, need a new GPU first!

If you get a few FAN controllers, you could always use an additonal cheap PSU to power all the gfans by linking the green(15th) wire on the PSU together so they turn on at same time, and use the spare PSU to power the fans, and a fan controller to keep the fans on lower RPM or where the sound is comfortabe. Then you can buy all the cheap fans you want.

Word of advice, if you have a powerful gaming desktop, you do not want your fans exposed to heat non-0stop and running full blast all the time. They will warp and bend and die quickly. SO - keep HOT air moving away from fans that spin fast and never going through them, like case intakes.. to create a positive air pressure zone.. then use low RPM fans, more industrial ones if you will, to vent the HOT air out or do not use any FANS to pull HOT air out, and just use a regular air duct/vent etc.. Just make sure the DUCT flows to a direction where no hot air blows over components, otherwise your lowering thier expectancy (life wise) to a halve, easily.

Hope some of my old-school advice helps.
