Test ship inventory

Is there a running inventory being kept of what and how many of various ships are in Test?

Even if it isn't shared with membership, does leadership have some kind of running inventory list?

I'm asking because I'm curious how fleet development and deployment will work, or if there is any pre-planning being considered pre launch.
