If we are looking at main members and not total members then congrats everyone!
this is how i see affiliate :: org A makes an alliance with org B so members of org A can become affiliate of org B and vice versa
other wise how could you trust an affiliate there is bound to be conflict of interest spying etc what if one of our affiliate divulge our best mining spot to his main Org ? or the location of one of our base... so when the game launch all orgs will have to deal with their affiliates so the numbers will change big time .....food for tought

Just have to wonder how many TESTies are Xplor affiliates... TEST members probably make up a good number of their affiliates already since we don't have stupid rules prohibiting who we can affiliate like some orgs do...

The algo which controls that favors smaller 2-100 man orgs which is what it should be.
We are regularly on the top 10 most actives, but there is a lot that goes into calculating such as number of new members joining per 24hr period, number of active posters, number of members checking RSI and most recent date the org page was updated to name but a few.
