They're a blast, though I'm anxious over the planned Item 2.0 changes to the spinal mount to make it an unmanned turret holding two Size 3 weapons.

It already came with a spinal mount turret that carries 2 S2 weapons. Yes, it can / could be upgraded to a single S4 in 2.6, but I'll have no problem with them becoming unmanned turreted twin S3 weapons as then I'd have 4 S3 & 2 S1 on that small & agile glass cannon. If that is what happens, I'm sure that at some point my repeaters will nerf some shields while my piloting skills give somebody's cockpit a TEST Kiss at ramming speed. Just because I'd be about to die anyways doesn't mean that I should go alone. lols

Bugger...........thought ok all these other plebs ( sorry fellow entrepreneurs ) where making loads of in game credits , I need something to carry 20.000 Dildo's in so in 3.1 I can make a killing selling them to all the female avatars.

If you are going to be TEST Piloting (crashing) a ship filled full of Dildos for the lady avatars, then instead of the Cutlass, shouldn't you use a Cat that is named, "The Big D" just to further drive home the message? Just look at the shape of a Cat & all of the powerful thrust of its engines. That's a lot of perceptional penetrating power delivering, "the goods". ;p

So @Blind Owl again was kind enough to sell me a Cutlass ..............it's fucking huge :astonished: first flight , I flew to Levski and smashed it into the surface ( no damage....somehow...??? ) then on reurn to Port Olisar , ik got a crimestat after i erm bumped into the station :grinning:

when it comes to flying these things it seems I have the TS Skills required , an yer i've had a beer (several actually ) , thank fuck I signed up to here .

For cargo runs in the Cutlass I recommend starting out with Grim Hex to pick up cargo that you sell at Port Olisar, quick turn around and cargo is more readily available than Levski (Levski is more for when flying ships too big to land at Grim Hex.)

The anxiety is over whether we'll still be able to equip the S4 weapons instead; they were a huge part of the initial marketing of the Buccaneer so losing that ability will be quite disappointing.

This is true, but regardless of what happens, I'll do my best to enjoy whatever we end up with when they are done with the modifications & updates. Either way, it's still a Drake, so it should be good at kicking ass on the budget, whether you're a pirate or not. Personally, I hope that when they do update it that they will give it at least a cargo area that can hold 1sc of things. Then when you wonderful TESTies who are dabbling in piracy accidentally interdict me, I'll be able to let you all have a case of space beer to enjoy while waiting for the next passing cargo buffet to arrive.
