I CCU’d an OC LTI Caterpillar to one.

I have already unmelted my Kraken, plus I only have two fighters ( a Scorpius and a Gladius, well 3 if you count the Raven), but this just seems like a really cool little transport ship, that by the looks of it, will fit in a large hangar, something a Kraken obviously wont.

Thus giving it more options to trade and off/spawn vehicles for transport.

Has there been anything said about players selling ships and vehicles, in-universe? If so, this would be a cool little mobile 'dealership' of sorts that could operate in the far reaches of space, or a forward operating base.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that they touched on players being able to eventually sell their ships & other property in game, but that functionality hasn't been worked out just yet.

While I see many potential items where this would be a handy ship to have, I'm an Origin fan, so I'll be waiting for a carrier of some sort from either Origin or Crusader as I'm also a fan of their interior aesthetics. I'd be just fine with a carrier from either of them being too large to fit on large pads because now we can dock at most space stations & in the future I'd be able to hire a few ARGO SRVs to help me land & leave from planets. Worst case scenario, I'd deploy an ARGO Personnel ship to transport the people on the ground to my ship in space for them to collect their ships.

Origin already has a ship with the capacity of the Liberator. The 890J.

10 Ways to Fit Out Your New Pocket Carrier

Deep Penetration Bomber Support—The Liberator gives the short range Gladiator and Talon Shrike bombers and the Eclipse stealth bomber greater range than either the Vanguard or the Retaliator.

Loading mines aboard the internal storage of the Liberator could extend the length of duty on Nautilus runs. With one Liberator flying in support of three Nautilus, one could lay two or even three times as many mines, and do so under the watchful eye of a trio of superiority fighters, granting an extended measure of security during hazardous service.

Send a Murder of Ravens during your next large fleet engagement. Due to the small size and unique shape of the Sabre Raven, up to six of them should fit on the Liberator—4 externally and 2 internally. Give your opponents a belly ache full of EMP with extended range Raven deployment.

Provide Interdiction along the periphery, by deploying up to 6 Buccaneers at extended range. These hot little monsters excel where speed and heavy hitting are requirements for success.

Deploy a fleet of Prospectors into deepest space, where the mining is for the bold alone. Support daily transports as they come and go and keep your mining ships doing what you pay them to do.

Back woods mining needs both a ROC and the Nomad to transport it. Put the ROC on the Nomad and the Nomad on the Liberator, to loft multiple revenue streams to the field at once and provide them with the logistical support they need for long term success.

Base your small team, low cost exploration operations where the exploring needs to be done, by flying the Reliant Sen off the Liberator. Keep travel times to and from the exterior to a minimum and your pathfinders hard at work.

Deploy an entire snare team for long duration by flying the Mantis and support ships all off the Liberator. Make friends and influence people, right into prison.

Sometimes, a synergy forms that makes it worthwhile to do the unexpected. What we don’t know hurts us. Can you fly a Prowler off the Liberator? Only TESTing will tell. Because of the Prowler’s unique geometry, one of them may fit on the Liberator and thus provide a boarding team with the long duration support and range they need to overcome their most urgent limitations.

Fly your Liberator empty or with Vulcans, and wait for the calls to come to meet the needs of others. Charge top dollar for services that otherwise would require an Idris and a huge crew.

The Liberator as a pimp mobile, huh? Makes me wonder if it can be upgraded with cherry paneling and shag carpet!
