10,000 combined HP. The rudder would have been too tall for the military hangars of the era, so they cut it in thirds. Beautiful porpoise fuselage. Always a stunner. You can eat breakfast in one if you go to Greenwood Lake Airport in NW NJ.

What I find interesting is that even though the Hermes can carry approx 80 more SCU if you get creative with the storage area and off grid stacking, many still prefer the (now) pricier Hull B. Many cite that it is faster and easier to unload, especially if there are two crew members, as people tend to get in each others way trying to use the narrow loading access of the Hermes. I have contemplated getting the Hermes, but will not be giving up my Hull B, mainly because I got it as part of a pack and have had it since it was $90 (a real steal now). Thinking on it, I might get something else instead of the Hermes, as I already have a C2.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the early sales of the ship at those cheap prices, so I have had to save for mine...Oh you spendthrift, wasting $90 on jpegs.

I could make it considerably cheaper if I didn't care about it being "giftable" and used my Referral gladius as the start of the chain...
By some stroke of luck, I decided to buy back my Entrepreneur pack just before the Hull B released and SQ42 related buybacks were bricked - My fleet plan had involved buying the pack back nearer to 1.0 (along with finlly applying my CCU's to create the fleet) using a 20% coupon: I missed out on the $100 saving, but at least I have the pack. I'm just disappointed that the packs I had in buyback for the posters/models/etc. are gone forever due to SQ42 being in them as well) - Then again, after seeing the return of the BIS paints last year, maybe there's a chance we'll see those items appear in the store one day (Possibly coinciding with base building being added).
