I don't work for CIG so I have to guess, but I'll say CR is going to show stuff you haven't seen yet like new cap ships like the escort carrier, cruiser, battlecruiser, etc. and going through jump points, torpedoes hitting cap ships, cap ships duking it out, Retribution shooting it's main weapon. He could go more lowtech and show gameplay of people fighting an aggressive alien species on a planet and having to do surgery on someone to replace an arm with bionics or something. That's my guess.

I had to sell my PC so I could get more ships.... Now I have to imagine myself flying them as I have no PC to play the game any more.
If that's the future, I must recently have taken a tour in a certain DeLorean...This is your future after Gamescom sale, 3.0 Sale, and the Star Citizen Anniversary Sale later this year. This is your future. Accept it now as you have in the past but wanted to forget after so many months. Its just the circle of Money. Embrace it.

The Origin 600i is gonna be a big seller for CIG. The 890 Jump has nearly doubled in price on the grey market since its original sale. Offering a cheaper, but in the same vane luxury transporter is only asking for the same kind of exclusivity.

Yeah. A luxury Yacht/FarTrader/Explorer somewhere in size between the Lancer and 890 Jump. Think of something the size of the Conny, but all luxuried out and comes stock with impressive shields, firepower and equipment slots the Conny can only dream of and that therefore costs twice as much. Probably a little smaller than the BMM, but that is the closest comparison I can think of. Is that a "game changing ship"? It is if you want to fly the Conny for it's abilities but don't much like it's layout. Just remember it will be out years after the BMM.
I am finding it difficult to get excited with each new ship concept sale and would much prefer CIG doubled their efforts to get these ships in game.
I'm hoping they announce two separate ships. But my wallet will go into negative mass and turn into a black hole absorbing compound interest :smile:
All this fear of lack of funds and no one considered the kidney market, blood and plasma donations, and sperm banks. These fleets don't build themselves without blood, sweat, tears, and stickies.....
I do not begrudge those who get excited about concept sales but I have quickly realised (okay my wallet took a hammering whilst I learnt) that I am not bothered if others have better stuff than me, the latest fighter is only the current latest must have there will be others (there is also some small signs of powercreep already see size 4 in fighter turret). All with the very real need to be patient with development (i.e. no progress visible).
Plus sadly buying early gives you absolutely no advantage over buying later LTI is so easy to get. For most ships there will be a later sale at the same price if you even need to buy everything before buying it in game with game currency.
As for the developers just showing capital ships again well they done that already lets hope they actually have some stuff that's really new and really progress. Planets again is so yawn!

Ooooo. . .you get special bonus posting points for mentioning negative mass. Did you know after decades of wondering if that is even possible, it was created in the lab back in April, I think it was. This is a VERY big deal for future space travel. Kudos.
SH has had an S4 turret forever. Vanguard has an S5 mount. The newest fighters don't have more, so not sure where the creep is. Seems to me with the exception of the Bucky, all the newer fighters are pretty tame compared to the Hornet and Sabre.
