Im on the fence here, I really like the Raft, but no need for the Raft and Hermes considering the big bump on cargo too!

Well Boss, I'm keeping mine and it is my new favorite medium freighter.
It's a great hauler, period. Especially when you get used to operating the tractor beam rail.
I loaded 59 x 8SCU boxes today comfortably. That's 472 SCU, on a ship rated for 288. I used the rail tractor to rapidly fill the grids, then used my max lift to fill the gaps quick.
It's a sexy ship, with good fittings and fantastic fuel ranges. I run Lorica shields and a Hemera quantum drive right now, so like 436GM range (if my scotch blurred memory holds).
It's a whale of a ship, but I found her easy to handle and made several pretty landings even sipping on my scotch. Top notch stuff.
If I want to take vehicles I'll use something else. This ship is for cargo.

The looks don't do it for me. Last year I caught a good CCU and turned my MSR into an Asgard. Smaller, faster, more agile, plenty of firepower, and move any vehicle I am likely to want to move. I know, flying brick, but the aesthetics works for me. Yes, it's 100 less SCU, but if I need more I already have the loaner M2 until my Liberator arrives.
For me, pass.

I like the ship. I’ve no interest in hauling, but I think it has much more sex appeal than the better armed Taurus. I wish the S5 guns on the Meteor were swappable. There was a rumor about a “Military Meteor” that I’m disappointed didn’t work out. And. . .what was the cargo planned for the Galaxy? Seems that may need adjustment.
