So as the title says I just upgraded my starter ship the Aurora MR to an Avenger Titan . I bought the pledge back in 2015 with the intent to play the game someday well with the recent upgrade to my PC I can now play with a vary good frame rate and enjoy the game. The Aurora was not what I had hoped it would be and after alot of video watching I settled on the Avenger Titan. I hope this will work better for me as a fast delivery ship that can defend itself better than the Aurora.

Avenger Titan is my personal favorite solo starter ship if bounty hunting/pve combat is something that you're interested in.

It's crazy good for the money.

Agreed, excellent decision! The *next* one you should consider, probably by grinding the ~1M aUEC in-game for it, is the Cutlass Black if you ever want to branch out into a multi-crew play! Don't necessarily upgrade the Titan to it though; good chance you'll want to keep that Titan forever! :D

Titan is a well deserved name for this little ship. A little jack of all trades, very nice starter.

You will struggle a bit in atmosphere for flying a Titan but you will soon see how it handles and will tame it (slow turning, really need to fly it like a real plane flight model especially in thick atmo).

If you will consider further upgrade in the future, and are still interested in multi-purpose ships (cargo + weaponery) you then have the Nomad and the Cutlass Black.

The Nomad is my personnal favorite for starters, though it is already at the high end for ship price in this category. Not as nimble as a Titan though but nice firepower, defense, and cargo + ability to transport a small vehicle (ROC or small bike).

Upgrading to the Titan was a good choice since the Aurora just wasn't satisfying your vehicular game play cravings. It can do a little bit of many things, so my advice is to check it out, TEST it out & have fun with it to see what sorts of things that it's lacking for you, to help you determine what direction you might want to try next or as well. Either way, have fun & enjoy the Verse as much as possible.

Titan and 315p have both earned permanent positions in my fleet. They are the baselines I use for actual testing in every new patch. Sometimes involving alcohol, always involving bugs and explosions.

Ask around for the combat flight training. TEST has some real pro mentors that can help you get on top of your game. Marcsand2 has just posted up about combat flight training this Friday. FYI, he has been flying combat a couple hours a day almost every day for more than half decade. There are very few in game who can match his knowledge and experience, and far fewer that train others. Access to mentors like this is perhaps the single greatest perk of being a TESTie.
