VR experience now dead in SC?.......LOL!

Its been a few years now experiencing this game in VR but just downloaded the latest patch a few moments ago and poof....Gone.

I don't know if any of my fellow TEST brethren do the VR experience with software like Vorp X (Bloody wonderful) but any advice you can share would be wonderful my friends should someone be in the know

Its gonna be a rough day without my fix.....Happy Thoughts

I'm wondering if it's a side-effect of buying something off-the-shelf and launching it without making much modification to it to see if it works and stuff...?

And jeeeeexux they just turned off the Linux community? Pheeph.

There are a lot of applications they need to whitelist with this new anticheat system. This is why its being tested, so sort out these issues now instead of later down the line.

A fix for this is probably already listet on the backlog. Therefore I'd expect it to only require 2 or 3 years. No big deal for a long term backer I'd say

I saw something about that while trying to see what I could do on my end.......I know there is a substantial VR crowd but holy moly there is a ton of those poor Linux folks. Good thing they conveniently launched this after a major ship sale and not before

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me - if you're happy with sleeping in the doghouse from now on

FWIW, as much as I love my Oculus for games that are designed around it, I've honestly found the Tobii to be 95% as good for 5% of the hassle for the non-native flight sims. That said more screen real estate >>> less, so if you're down to a single 27" monitor. . . yeah that sucks and I see no cheap way out! :(

Its only money,...Can't take it with you and you just never know when your ticket gets punched I sure as hell am not going to mention anything about the wifes new toy because Im sure she would punch that ticket I mentioned a moment ago
