Where to get the latest and up-to-date info on SC updates?

So 2.6 was supposed to come out today, probably got delayed again, but that info isn't anywhere to be found. By me, at least. Does anyone know of a good place to get the latest up-to-date info on SC updates that are supposed to happen?

Here are the ways I've tried and failed:

So usually, when an update is about to release I'd go to the frontpage of the games website to find all sorts of pre- pre and post launch info, but here we only have Untold Tales: The Unexpected Guest, a completely unrelated story from 2 days ago.

Some companies, when they're about to miss a deadline or have had something come up, post it on twitter. But the last update from SC is just "Where will you go first in #StarCitizen Alpha 2.6?", so that's not it.

StarCitizen also has this very cool production schedule report, which still states the game should('ve) updated today, but my launcher says otherwise. This report seems to only update on Fridays anyways. So probably tomorrow we'll learn that the update didn't happen today.

And then there is the launcher, which for many games features a little news box for latest news and status updates. Unfortunately, in SC launcher, this is just the same news as the frontpage, so no up-to-date information there either.

So anyone got a method of finding out the latest news for SC reliably and in timely fashion? (Note, I can't consult Ouija board, I don't have a second person to help me.)

2.6 in the PTU is way too buggy and the universe is down again in the PTU so i doubt it will be ready until they work out all the bugs.

Based on the crowdsourcing idea (the many are better) reddit is faster than community/live official team, so I use reddit ex:

In doubt, just hop into the stream of one of the "proffessional" Star Citizen Streamers (WTFosaurus; Badnewsbaron; Sgt_gamble;...)
and ask them. Usually they have their shit together.

The idea was reddit is an aggregator (I don't need to watch multiple sources), and I don't have PTU access and yet I can know what is going on,making it more powerful than the official channels of communication.
