Why does a Crusader Logo pop up on my screen?

Does anyone know why the Crusader logo popped up on my screen a couple of times yesterday? My earphones' battery was flat so I could hear if there was any announcement.

Is there any other prompt than that logo pop-up or is that it?

Video screen pops up and then the guy/gal tells you all about the event verbally and what to do and then if your near the station affected by the event a priority event will appear in the missions menu.
