Alright y'all, this requires a little bit more footwork for you than the first recommendation post did. You SHOULD do this though to ensure no one can just go online and grab your password from a big pool of leaked emails. We are gonna go on two different database websites that will tell you whether your email has been hacked, including one I recommend you sign up for as it will send you an immediate alert if a large breach happens to contain your information. This shit happens, mainly because large companies do not give a cold piece of hell if your data is leaked.

First website, just for checking common breaches: https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Second website, I would register for updates from them: https://spycloud.com/

If you show up as having been included in a breach, immediately change the email password if you have not done so. If you are able to look into what account was breached, either close that account or change the password on it as well. Whenever possible change the username on the account that was breached.

Let me know what y'all find out about your emails. If you need help creating a secure password, in a day or two I will be writing about secure password utilities and SMS/Physical 2FA systems.

And very important: don't just change the password for the account that was hacked but also for all other sites for which you use that same password and never use that password again.
