To sell an idris P you need to sell an entire account. You can't 'gift' something that costs more than $1000

What K1NG said, Idris-Ps (and Javelin's) are above CIG's 1000 dollar gift limit. Selling accounts is a BIG BIG no-no as far as the Terms of Service go, and you stand a very very good chance at getting "your" account suspended. Or the original holder can just PM CIG and say you stole it and they'll give it back to them, so you'll be out of 2000+ USD and not even have an Idris to show for it.

I'll serve on an Idris, but I could not see myself owning one as of yet. I own the RSI Orion and I'm gonna be worried about blowing it up all the time considering mining hazards.

Indeed. I waited an entire year to get one and finally landed an Idris during the Holiday Sale. Better to wait it out and get lucky than spend thousands over cost with tons of risk involved.
