My display config is 1280x1024 - 1920x1080 - 1280x1024 and I have a GTX 970. When I want to play a game in multi screen then usually I must use NVidia Surround. NVidia Surround is crap because it can only use displays with the same config. Bigger displays are scaled to the lowest. Allot of control just get split over displays and the middle display is not in native resolution, so everything gets teared.
Star Citizen Windowed mode could be a solution, but in config you only can select the max resolution of the main display, that is 1920x1080.
I found the solution to my problem. Maybe it can by handy for other user too, so I'm posting my solution:
1. make a new file called user.cfg in the folder C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public
2. in this file put:
Con_Restricted = 0
r_Fullscreen = 0
r_Width = 4480
r_Height = 1080
r_FullscreenWindow = 1
I had some issues with user rights, so a made the user.cfg in another location and copied it with admin rights in the folder: C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Public
3. Have fun

Thanks for that. I had a play but it looks to centre on the main screen, and since I only have two displays that was a little unsatisfactory. It may be that there is an offset option (as Eve has) so I'll do some digging.

Cheers

The parameter: r_Width and r_Height must be calculated for your own situation.
I have 1280 + 1920 + 1280 so width is 4480.
I have 1024 + 1080 + 1024, height should be 1024, but I used 1080, now I loose 52 on the bottom of my left and right screen....:eek: big deal, at least I have full screen on all displays :D

If you have an NVida card, then you can set the offset in the NVidia control panel, but it will be like the knights in the dark ages: a blind spot between your eyes (if you use the nose-protecting-helmet).
Not very practical if your aim is in the middle of screen :rolleyes:
Better would be: get a third screen, then at least your aim isn't in a blind spot ;)
It doesn't has to be symmetrical.
