1. Probably in the beginning as end game I doubt we have a problem with resources.

2. I would agree, but every base is going to have at least one gate and they could just target that one. But it would leave multiple avenues of approach. We could put gates outside our walls for reinforcement though.

It was supposed to have been released last night, but there were some delays with the actual launch of the new official servers. I went to bed prior to seeing if it was fixed.

I'm just jumping into NA-TheCenter578 for now. If you guys pick an official Test server I can switch. Just wanna get running around and get a few levels.

I had fun running around with you fools for a bit there yesterday. It's was nice to see TEST come together like that. And as the Prophet Montoya predicted, it all fell to shit rather quickly. I tried jumping back on at night but the damn server was full. I will try to log in this morning and check in on things.

Well we pissed off the guys next to us last night, and they came over and killed everyone and destroyed most of our stuff.

But the good news is, we're still leveling up. I'm almost 35, and as soon as I hit that we get Pteras, which means decent amounts of metal and oil start to come in, along with shotguns and longnecks. Getting close!

Pteras are a game changer, I'm really looking forward to that.

Awesome work today getting stuff back up and running guys.

Munken and I talked to that tribe next to us, we apologized for our members stealing their stuff. They said they'd not attack again, as long as we don't attack either.

I don't believe them, but it doesn't matter anyway. We never wanted to be in this spot long term, we're just trying to get enough of a foot hold to be able to make a play for TheCenter floating island.

Guys, please don't pick tribes near us again in the next few days. Pretty please. All it does is delay our progress to get to a real home.

I'm here to kill people just as much as you are, but we are several days behind the other tribes on this server, and continued altercations with people who are stronger than us will only delay us more.

Once we get some fliers then we'll be in a better position - but the next few days I'll thank you in advance for only picking on people that are in no position to retaliate.

W00t! Level 35!

We need HIDE, lots of it! 230 per Ptera saddle.

We need STONE, 100 for each large crop plot so we can make Ptera kibble.

If you guys can gather some mats I'll craft the stuff in the morning, then we can start flying around killing stuff on Pteras.

(Also need lots of chitin/keratin, but we have enough if nobody uses it.)

Got a level 20 female Ptera down right now taming:

Built a spike wall around her and put a door on it. If a big dino comes by I'm screwed, but random scavengers aren't going to touch it.

I killed a 140 carno that came over and wanted to eat her. Got almost a level of XP from that.

There was a guy on an Argent who kept flying by thinking about whether or not he wanted to attack me.

I hunkered down by the spikes, and he didn't dare dive in on me. He could easily have gotten stuck and his argent might have died. He kept flying around looking, then he'd fly off. Then he'd be back, fly around some more, then he was gone.

We played cat and mouse for almost an hour.

Also had a pair of high level raptors come by. The door was a savior. I lured them to the doorway, they couldn't get in, then I speared them to death. Structures took some damage, so did I, but the ptera didn't get hit.

We added 2 new Pteras to the collection, a 145 and a 120.

Put all points into damage so we can prime tame, for example a Quetzal and/or a Giga. We're getting pretty close to a Quetzal now, and farming prime meat is now super easy.

The "Boys in the Hood" tribe, the one in the center floating island, killed Bode and the high level ptera.

They are extremely hostile. He was flying around the map scouting, they grabbed him off, threw him down, and killed the bird.

Advise staying away from their base until we are ready to raid it.

Bump? Do we even have a camp/playing this server anymore? Been wondering around aimlessly for days :(

Update: some one from misguided by the name of seven said the base is somewhere near the north snow bio, any truth to this?

We are around 70, 35. Or 35, 70 depending how you look at it. It's the south western side of map. There's a swamp that meets a cliff with a doc and some rafts. We're at the top.

Aha took a little searching but I found it, I set up an outpost a little to the west on the beach till someone logs on and can add me to the tribe. I don't dare get too close to the front gate till then XD Thanx Grimbli

Found a guy named Nef, now all I need is tribe leader to log on to add me.

Logged in today dead and saw no beds at all. After an hour or so got a raft up and going with a small hut/bed. Made my way to old base and it's half destroyed. They broke in and stole everything.

I made a bed in the base in case anyone wants to spawn there but there isn't much. Couple pieces of stuff on the raft. Wasn't sure if we were going to continue playing on this server.
