Careful, some of us read this at work, you can't go posting such (food) porn! Sometimes I wish I'd learn to be a chocolatier, or a baker, I could flood the world with more TEST cookies! High is sugar, butter and food colourant!

Racing would be a good call if you want to farm REC, have heard it's the fastest way to do it, if you have an M50 or a 350R all the better. probably can't race with a 890 though, but maybe you could transport the race team in style?

actually got it for $750.....the guy initually mislisted it and had to honor the initual pricing. Those babies have certainly gone up in price. Next cheapest one I found was $885 and thats not cheap. o_O So does that mean I'm crazier than you now? LOL

Im thinking of getting a 350R still thinking about the Harbinger and most likely will get that, lust need to upgrade my Redeemer and Aquila to LTI somehow. There will be alot of money falling out my pockets right there

Yeah, as I said - we sure can meet this weekend so I'll lend you the Warden. 350r is a fantastic ship - can lend this to you either :D
Redeemer you have to knock on the door of someone else here; Aquila is only hangar ready currently.

As mentioned before, the cheaper way could be to subscribe and then use the REC to borrow and try out the ships of your interest.

Well, to be honest: no. I'll see no spaceship before this whole mess of 9999 TEST-spaceship, stylish crashing into whatever sun :D

Best options: buy small ships like P72 LTI on greymarkets (reddit) and CCU them; or wait for next concept sale.

I just took a peek into my RSI-account. Better hadn't done this - now I'm feeling sick again :D Twelve Benjamins allover *plus* greymarket buys which will cumulate somewhere around and above 15 of these gentlemen :eek::confused::oops::rolleyes::D

Hmmm...will need to have a sticky beak at the Grey market again and do some buying.
Think we are about the same with money pumped in currently but think I'll shortly overtake.....thats not a good thing btw! LOL I actaully didnt sleep well last night thinking about the 890! o_O Still, not regretting it and thats the main thing, think its a beautiful ship. Currently have my list of ships I want to have and will scrap the ones I dont need then thats it. Till November anyway depending if something nice comes out!

But, to say that, I'm currently satisfied with my fleet of ships.

• 350r Racer (former: P72 -> 350p -> Cutlass Red) for the fun, dogfighting and small contract labour business ;)
• Reliant Kore Mini Hauler - for fun and CCU-needs (Freelancer MAX)
  
• Avenger Stalker (former: P72) - for Bounty Hunting; since owning the 350r now I'm not sure wether to hold her or CCU to FL MAX (instead of Reliant)
  
• Prospector - for making money in times when I don't feel like a bounty hunter ;)
• Constellation Aquila (former: Esperia Blade) - well, thats love at first sight. First ship I bought after the game package. She is such a beauty!
• Carrack (former: Retaliator -> Aquila) - one of the ships which catched my eye at first sight. Bought her lateron; don't know if I will ever be able to staff/fly her - but I *had* to buy her, perhaps for some funny weekend trips with some TESTies and beer and so on
• Starfarer (former: Prospector) - was a long way to go for me. Finally, I don't know why I bought her. And I don't know what to do with her. But I love it, to run around and being marveled about her huge size :D

All ships LTI'd. A *very* long time I thought about buying the Reclaimer 'cause - like the Starfarer - she is such a huge monster of a ship. Must be impressive to fly around in space with her. But fortunately I was able to convince myself owning enough ships and, instead of owning, lateron book a passage at @Rolo s' Reclaimer; I will pay by Chocolate with salt and chili flavour :D

TL: DR Chocolate is good.

I'd accept chocolate (and coffee!) as payment, but the Reclaimer is a secondary goal for me pre-release.
Basically, I don't want to buy it. :)
It's not about the money, which I will scrape up for my Crucible and Carrack, but about how I acquire it.
There are several ways I'd accept:

• Win the Orion from Shubin. This would become a Reclaimer directly.
• Earn the Gladius from referrals and start a "Pimp My Ride" campaign on my stream... Gladius -> Freelancer-> Taurus -> Andromeda -> Aquila -> Reclaimer
• Win a large ship in one of Ben's Wing Commander or Kickstarter streams
• Any other way that involves luck, participation in the community or very wealthy friends =)

If I don't get the Reclaimer pre-release, that's fine. I'll earn it fairly quickly between my Prospector, Starfarer, Freelancers and of course, my flagship, the Crucible.

I'm so old and so done with having to "win" games that my in-game winning conditions are:

• Earn a 890j for the one year anniversary of SC, a gift for my wife.
• Build a racer that wins the Murray Cup or any of the big races in-game (Note: I do not race myself, except for lolz)
• Record a sight-seeing visit to every reachable system with my wife in her customized Mako

After that... well, I intend to do what most retired guys do, just bum around and have fun.

What more could a guy want? ;-)

I agree, it should be all about fun. In opposite to that I got the impression that especially in Germany there are mostly people who are taking this game more seriously than their real-life. In parts of some discussions there's so much hate expressed; that is really shocking for me. And when there are pirate communities who are complaining about entering, killing and heist the Idris of named targets than I can't see any kind of "fun" anymore in that - at least for the possible victims. And expressing that thoughts of mine, that - looking to the word "fun" - in most cases and in that situation at least two groups should have "fun" with such actions, I only received answers like "since when?" or "don't buy a ship which you can't afford to loose".
Personally I don't like this arrogant and egomaniacally behaviour - but we have to face such, unfortunately. Before this background, and making already some unpleasent experiences in the 'verse, every day I'm happy that there is such group like TEST whos members are all about the fun, taking mostly everything not more seriously as it should be taken ;) :)
