Turns out there's wasn't a direct way to enter Port Authority after hours. When I got there at around 3:05 AM, it was closed or blocked off at 42nd St. Had to ask around and go to 44th, use a rickety wheelchair lift, and double back to 42nd on street level. This took me an extra 20-25 minutes (because of my unfamiliarity of the area).
Don't feel bad though. If someone had gone with me to Port Authority, they would have slowed me down. I was able to go back and forth at full speed. :)
By the time I found where my bus was loading (around 3:30 ish AM), it was already half way full. The bus pulled away at 3:42 AM (was supposed to leave at 4 AM). I arrived in Boston about an hour early.
The worst thing is that my cart's mirror was broken en route, so Greyhound now has seven (more?) years of bad luck. :)
Edit: And today feels like Sunday instead of Saturday because I slept after getting in. d:
