Can you try disabling HTTPS everywhere for this site? We are already using HTTPS and I am unsure if that is rewriting all the requests to the site or not.

The Problem was caused by the SSL-observatory (part of HTTPS-Everywhere) which sends copys of all Certs to a server for a double check.
Since i disabled that feature, The resonse times went back to normal.
HTTPS-Everywhere itself has no rulesets for this site (List of Sites, that are affected by the Addon: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere/atlas/)
