Bomber Squadron?

I'd say we use them as a bomber/carrier and a bomber-carrier! Have a Gladiator/Harbinger in the back and use the big ass torps on the Polaris. Just think of it as the torp frigate in homeworld. We could use it to do shit tonnes of damage against the advocacy Evil vanduul space AIDS infected baddies.... thats totally what i meant!

The polaris is wasted if simply used as a bomber. It has a wide variety of uses beside torps. Besides we know nothing about the ship it might end up only have 3 torps making it useles for a dedicated bomber. For now it will remain as a capital ship.

Yes since it's a cap ships it's more complicated but...

(Worst case) x4 size 9 torps is still exponentially more Boom then a tail can lob so wouldn't rule it out as useful on a enemy capital ship bombing run.

I think the largest it fits is Sabre, so no bombers on it.

I would wait until we have a finallized design for the polaris. we know the carrack scout ship doors are getting enlarged but the polaris bay might go the opposite and get smaller enforcing a smaller selection of fighters.
