Years ago when I was living in the woods (had 5 acers) we had a doe that would hit our apple tree every morning seeing what she could find. she was so old that she was mostly grey. So Being the respectful hunter that I am, I posted no hunting signs put salt and mineral blocks and a small grain feeder out by the tree. she stayed there for a few years. would see her every morning. I figured that if she has lived that long best thing I could do was make sure she had the food to live as long as she could.
Damn man, that's respectable. Cheers to you.

I like animals. I like trees too.
I especially like apple trees.
I wonder if I'll meet cute ladies where I get posted. I'm following @Blind Owl's foolproof plan to get married... only go to bars where the nurses college is having pub crawls
It's fool proof.
Even socially awkward forest squatchs should be able to land a lady this way.

You're a good man Thugari. My brother in Law feeds the deer (many) in his yard and the wild turkeys.
My sister keeps yelling at him to stop drooling while looking out the window. ;)
He hunts out of his camp 100 km west though. I get the odd venison steak to take home and make my stroganof out of.
I'm not big on it but free protein is free protein.

Love it!
When I took care of a fleet of snowplows (400 of them) We had a training video called "under the blue" we made ourselves to train plow driver how to break open a road with 6 feet of snow on it. We had these huge 8 ton 4 wheel drive trucks that only came out when the road was blocked with big V plows on the front. They would take a run at it and slam into it so hard that the back wheels of the truck would come off the ground about 4 feet. The lesson was to make sure you pushed in the clutch just before you hit or the sudden impact would explode the whole driveline of the truck. Even the dump box was bolted down. Weezling that big transfer case out to repair was an absolute bear. I had to do a few. I became the clutch change king. I could do a louisville Ford in 2 hrs flat. It paid 10. ;)
Here is a video of a "Rocky Mountain Car Wash". It won't be there long likely:
Note: Never honk your horn. It's a challenge for a moose. They will charge the car.

I'm drinking beer and catching up on 75 notifications. I've only been offline 10 days guys. Sheesh.

I still love Canada.
