I'm actually still paying $55 a month also. Time Warner Cable is rolling out New internet speeds and starting in LA and New York. So I was on the 30/5 plan and am now at 200/20 at No additional charge!

I'm paying 365 bucks for 3 months of coverage at listed 1mb high speed but it max I see is 24kb a second with an average of 5-6kb. Gotta love internet in Africa. Ha.

The only reason TWC is bumping the speed is because Google Fiber is very likely coming to UbeClowns neighborhood.

All they did was flip a switch that they could have flipped years ago and given everybody the same kind of internet speed that places like South Korea had 10yrs ago.

Instead, TWC and others offer really shitty packages so they can squeeze every dollar from their consumers who have no other competition to turn to, until Google Fiber stepped up.

You guys get crazy up speeds... In Canada, at least on the west coast, best I can get is 50 down 3 up. To get to 100 d 5 up is like $100 month and hard to get due to limited service area
