It's perfectly obvious from the picture what is going on.
He must have EVA'd to the stationary Constellation, got in and shot all three guys with that pistol. in return the comm chat shows they were so angry they told him forcefully to go to the Cry Astro, buy a Freelancer and do the PI mission.
Or it's the wrong picture.

Gene Wilder is one of my favourite actors, his films with Richard Pryor are just gold.
