Mine is a 5200. That thing is frightening powerful for an outdated double-core processor.

But after my onboard gigabit ethernet died and got replaced by an ethernet card, my sata controller died and got replaced by an IDE drive, my 3rd quality PSU started to give me troubles, it was time to give my rig some rest. To keep it booting acceptable, I stopped shut down but instead used standby. Only before going on holiday I powered off and had to wait 4 hours before it even started to boot again when I plugged in the power again. Probably had something to do with the expanding capacitors on the mainboard.

Yeah, when that fuckers start hissing is time for a change. IMHO, "dry" capacitors are one of the best inventions of the last century.
