Sorry, I really thought that you were joking. It is like the Pirate skin, a prize. The prize is that you can get one Glaive. If you could get a new one by melting the first, it wouldn't be a prize anymore, it would be trade, nothing special. Grey market traders would stock up the Glaive and sell it for a lot of money.
