Well, District 9 (and Edge of Tomorrow, as well) are both set on earth but they happen to have aliens and spaceships in them. Doctor Who, though, involves quite a bit of space travel. The TARDIS is, after all, a space ship.Wanted to say Dr. Who and District 9, too (but its not really space based, isn't it? (I'm always imagining myself as british gentleman when i say that))
