It's not completely over you can still be re called for 2 years after. At least thats how it was back in the day after i got out in 2003

Nope, not for me, i served for over 8 years, so my selective service obligation is completed.

Congrats. Got about 6 years till I can retire myself and then try that civilian life (again). Or find a beach and just be a damn beach bum. Good luck out there.
