Got to say, I've heard all about you. Montoya is hard to ignore, let's be fair. Well I finally caved in to the blackhole like pull of Test and signed up.

I am a vet backer from 2012 and have bought far more ships than I ever thought plausible in the ongoing game of buy and melt and buy. And here I find myself looking for people to play this game with me. Where better than Test?

I am a screenwriter by trade, currently working on my first sci-fi space script I was commissioned to write. I work from home, so am tempted often to escape into SC as a break from work and looking after my autistic son and his two sisters.

Please fellow Testies (bad pun intended) let me escape with you.

Yes I do a lot of research that way.

In all honesty I got the job from the rising tide of interest in space sci-fi across the media world. My remit was, if you can believe it, "Write me Sixth Sense in Space."

Moving forwards I will get to speak with specialist from the European Space Agency and even use genuine space footage in the final film.

I'm a UK testie, the last good serious UK SciFi was Blakes 7 and that is now a comedy.

Script is for a film. Drama in vein of 2001. Trying to be as authentic as possible and to get science right too. Deals with AI and a last ditch contingency to get humans off planet.

@Crimsontarget I wrote a short sci-fi detective mystery on a space station a long time ago.

"Damn, I hate waking up on the ceiling."
Never published - wrote it just for fun.
