I would like to nominate Dune by Frank Herbert.
I have always wanted to read this one and seeing as its one of the top sci-fi books voted on by the internet, we should read it too.

I've already read Dune and it's original sequals a few times, but that's not a reason not to read it again. It's a masterfully done and timeless story. It is also the source of some of the names of planitia on Saturn's moon Titan.
I'm going to nominate Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
It's a story about the multiverse, the observer principle, and one guy's journey through it all. Plus it's by the guy that wrote Wayward Pines so there's that.
