CitizenCon 2949 approaches and we could not be more excited to celebrate Star Citizen and its community together in Manchester, England this November.

Next week, we’ll kick off wave 1 of ticket sales alongside an update to our CitizenCon website, providing additional information about this year’s event.

The ratio of US vs European backers weighs heavily on the US side, thus attendance to an event in Europe will scale accordingly.

I think the Austin event was close to 2000 attendees, with seats to spare in the main hall.

It is better to be oversold than undersold.

Cool, I can't find how much they are going to cost anywhere? A train ticket to the area would cost me £80 so i'm hoping it's £20 to get in haha.

I would guess if its anything like the Gamescom tickets, expect a couple hundred moolah

IIRC, CitizenCon tickets went for around $80-$100 the regular ones and $120-$150 the VIP ones. The "companion" tickets went for less than that though.

To bad for me i will never be able to convince my wife of the utility of this expense even thouigh i m living in the north of france so close to manchester :(

Surely the utility is your happiness and well being? If your wife does not want you to be happy then all I can say is, I am glad I am single!

Even if I convinced my wife to vacation in the UK (something we intend to do at some point), I doubt going to Manchester will be on her list. Even if it is, it will be struck if she finds out there is a SC convention there...
