Hi All,

I've been exploring the Stanton system today and found a new planet, which hasn't been marked on the map. This planet has a very interesting atmosphere colour. My Aquila scanning station suggested that the atmosphere has a high concentration of blueberry beer vapours, which are rising from the ocean covering the planet surface. While draughting the planet surface map, I have stouted across a Sour and Bitter memory of a Bock (or book, but I think the former spelling is correct) called "Intergalactic Pale t-Ale-s", which porter-ade a legend about an old ale-ien Imperial civilization from Helles-Schwarzbier Doppelbock system. This civilisation was able to do Tripel and Quadrupel space jumps, but with sequenced jumps they were missing the sightseeing at each stop, so they have very rarely found a planet with blueberry beer oceans on it, despite this type of planet is not so uncommon. And I thought it's good that we take time to look around after every jump.

you are an asshole, had me going for a second.

This would actually be an awesome way to introduce new areas. Don't announce them, just drop them in the game and wait for somebody to stumble across it!
I was surprised too when I saw this purple planet. I've got other screenshots too 🍻

I think not announcing new areas was the original idea. 30% of space would be known, and the rest is to be discovered by the players.

Imagine stumbling across something like this, spending a week exploring and collecting data, then get all the profits for the player and the org.

What would you call your planet?

I would nominate "Ninkasi", the Goddess of Beer!

There's actually quite a few if TEST found more planets: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deities_of_wine_and_beer

The last one on that list is the Egyptian goddess of childbirth and beer, named Tenenet. I'm trying to think of the connection. Fu I mean child creation, beer yes. Child rearing, beer definitely. But child birth? Let me tell you the last thing on your mind is beer.
Yeah, been there. Mrs 'BobFace wasn't demanding beer while in labor... She was demanding Lilt:

A very interesting question...

Looking at the list, I think I like - Bes, Egyptian god, protector of the home, and patron of beer brewers. Also, according to the wiki, Bes is also regarded as the defender of everything good and the enemy of all that is bad.

Practically speaking, we know that this type of planet is not uncommon, so these can be found in large numbers across the Beerverse. So, maybe we can call this a "Blueberry Beer One".

From the realistic point of view...
