I'm curious who is interested in participating in planned war games where players try out various tactics to see where the surprises are. Requires two "teams" though in some instances a team could be a single player flying a target ship like an HH.

So for instance, it would be good to know if an HH can see a Harbinger or a Sentinel at 9 km. Likewise it would be good to find out if missiles launched from an attacking wing of Vanguard would all land on the same shield, whether that requires some skill, and if so what the skill is.

According to the current stats, if three Harbingers were to launch all their missiles on an HH from 9 km, and they all hit on the same shield, the HH would be destroyed. OTOH, if the incoming missiles landed on both shields equally, the HH would not take any damage. So real world scenarios like this actually could be instructive now and in the future. and surely it matters at what range an HH can see a Vanguard, be it Harbinger or Sentinel.

I am always game to get together with some people to get some statistics as well as try team content as I usually am flying around alone. My schedule always varies so when I am available I would most gladly be involved.

I'm curious to know if a cargo ship loaded full of dragonflies could turn the tables on would be pirates. (Pretend to be unescorted, get attacked, scrap the pirates)

Would a bunch of infantry dumped on space with missile launchers beat combat ships? In the same vein, if you have a ship with backwards facing cargo ramp, and a bunch of guys inside with missile launchers, would that then be the most effective DPS on any ship?

Yeah, I'm interested in wargames. Lets see if we can break the game with unconventional tactics.

I can tell you right away all medium to large ship can see the Sentinel or any of the other stealth slightly later than they see any other ship, but difference is marginal.
The difference is about the same on the smaller but you can get closer... I would say stealth does work kind of..

I know this cause a couple of us tested this out thoroughly in 3.7 and 3.8 both in AC, PTU and PU as of this moment stealth make very little difference on a player that is very observant.
But work with little difference on other ship to than stealth, if you lower your signature as much as possible and approach in decouple mode.
That was when we could sneak up the closest before getting noticed and difference from regular to stealth ships was still not that much if the target have a good situation awareness..

CHEERS! 🍻
Side note: Do it right and with a bit a luck on a not so aware target and you can sneak up to ship gun range, but from what we saw that was rare.
But as they say practice make perfect 🍻
