Hey Testies.
This Saturday we are going to play Planetside 2 (Download Link)
Remember to Download, check for updates and run the tutorial, before the event starts, so that we can have a smooth start.

Once you have downloaded it, you will need to join the correct faction and server:
- Vanu Sovereignty
- Mattherson (US East)
You have 3 free character slots, so if you are from EU you can practice on a EU server while you wait.

What time?
The event starts | 14:00 EST | 19:00 GMT |
If you can't come until later, hop on Teamspeak and see if we’re still there.

Teamspeak is a voice communication program like Skype. It is free, so you can spend all your money on Auroras.
Server address: testoutfit.info (no password)
We require you to use Push-to-talk.

Does the tutorial still end with a hot drop into an active fight, generally between which ever 2 sides you aren't a member of?

Also mention server and faction.

I just started up PlanetSide2 for the first time in a while.

I had to download a 1gig patch.

Hmm... not sure I can play this game with y'all but I might join the teamspeak.

For the curious, I live out in the country with Comcast as my service provider. I can see the cable box on the corner of the property line from the front porch (approx. 500ft/120m), but there's not enough houses down "my stretch of the road" for them to hook up cable. Fucking bane of my existence.
