I personally could care less about food or prison, I have my doubts these will be working well for some time to come. I would have traded most of this list for salvage, medical or refuel/repair professions, more A.I. improvements etc.. and a few more ships that have been on the back burner for 5 years. Don't get me wrong, I am glad they got 3.9 out.... finally, but they also removed many items from the past few patches to get it done. I was personally excited about the Idris encounter the most, something to do in the game. But I guess if eating, drinking and a broken prison system is what people care about then ok. :)New Stuff:
I feel like I'm missing something, but still quite a bit of new stuff.
- New Babbage
- Food
- Drinks
- Outposts on MicroTech
- Outposts on the MicroTech moons
- Prison
- New Friendlist setup/interaction/interface
- New Armor (Hot and Cold weather, and the CitCon Armor)
- Ship: Prowler
- Impound for pad ramming

Go to the tallest MT skyscraper's roof on windy day and see what happens to your avatar ; )Booooo, no free prowler to play with in PTU :(
Cold effects look amazing! Was standing on a roof in babbage and went to 3rd person. My whole armor was white so I thought missing textures or something. Got back into my ship and the snow gradually melted from my suit and the actual colors started showing again. Very cool!
Didnt have time to go to jail yet
They were able to add the mission in for rescuing NPCs from a prison transport Caterpillar, fun mission.I personally could care less about food or prison, I have my doubts these will be working well for some time to come. I will be very interested to see how CIG ends up this year.
Sweet. Are there many missions in game now? I want content to play if I can't have actually mechanics like salvage, lol. And for me, story missions, or missions period, are worth my time. They were able to add the mission in for rescuing NPCs from a prison transport Caterpillar, fun mission.
The really high bounties on prison escapees also adds in more content for bounty hunters.
No storyline missions yet, but there are a lot of missions.Sweet. Are there many missions in game now? I want content to play if I can't have actually mechanics like salvage, lol. And for me, story missions, or missions period, are worth my time.
Fucking sweet! And these are spread out all over the place? No storyline missions yet, but there are a lot of missions.
I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting a couple, but that's a good chunk.
- Delivery missions (standard pick up package from A, deliver to B)
- Mercenary missions such as:
- Patrols
- Escort
- Clear hostiles from designated area
- Space
- Ground Bunkers
- Rescue the crew of an hijacked 890J
- Rescue criminals from a disabled prison transport Caterpillar (crime stat)
- PvE Bounty Hunting Missions
- System generated PvP Bounty Hunting (have to complete a specific PvE Bounty Hunting mission to unlock)
- Investigation missions (search for body(ies) in caves, crash sites, destroyed ships in space, etc.) - there are sometimes counterpart missions for the crash sites and destroyed ships to recover the black box or a specific package
- Races (Gravlev or Small Ship)
- Named NPC missions (these are variations of many of the above, but a little more complicated, usually pay more, and frequently have requirements/restrictions on being able to get them)
OH MY GOD she's so beautiful! There suppose to be a CitCon Data Center mission; Data Center placeholders are already located on Microtech, not sure when the missions are going to be implemented though.

Most are, but some are only in specific areas such as:Fucking sweet! And these are spread out all over the place?
Thank you for this, this is awesome.
OH MY GOD she's so beautiful!
So I gotta get in game and find them. Ugh. Sounds like work! Haha. Most are, but some are only in specific areas such as:
There's probably others that I haven't familiarized myself with.
- 890J mission: Only around MicroTech and ArcCorp
- Caterpillar mission: Only around ArcCorp (if I remember correctly)
- Named NPC missions: Some of these are only offered if you're within a specific range (and meet other requirements) while others are offered anywhere in Stanton
- There are also Hurston space specific Bounty Hunter missions (both legal and illegal)
You look like Tom Cruise nice shot.
As for the release of Prison stuff my guess is this has something to do with SQ42 gameplay and that is why they forced it out before all the fun MMO aspects of the game. If they want to get SQ42 out things like this are going to be prioritized or we are going to see more delays in SQ42.(and yes i know you might not want to play SQ42 but its been slated for release before MMO is out. We will get all that other stuff later trust me im a huge Salvage guy myself and i know your pain.)I personally could care less about food or prison, I have my doubts these will be working well for some time to come. You no longer have to spawn at PO for your first log in.So I gotta get in game and find them. Ugh. Sounds like work! Haha.
^ This * 1000 ... if I buy a load of cargo and sell it, it is at least a 20min time investment PLUS the x0,000 or x00,000 aUEC I paid for it.Prison gameplay is there because there was no risk for pirates, criminals, etc other than being hunted for PvP bounties, and even then, they only lost a bit of time.
before they can put in things like looting a destroyed ship, they needed to add in a risk mechanism.
prison is that risk, it even then, you can use it to your advantage
