So my wife wanted me to buy two of these for our living room.
Tufted Sleeper Sofa Convertible Sofa Bed.jpg

https://www.homary.com/modern-queen-king-tufted-sleeper-sofa-gray-daybed-fabric-upholstery-convertible-sofa-bed-in-gold-finish.html

We have a projector screen and a long wall on the opposite end that we had two different three-seaters and a love seat against.
She wants a continuous type of sofa against that wall that can turn into beds. To sit 6 or 7 people and sleep 4 for guests.
So I search a bunch of related keywords, "Tufted Sleeper Sofa Convertible Sofa Bed armless" and she did the same.
I saw the above and moved on because something was off about the website to me.
She found it and wanted me to buy two.
So, I did some research, the website is a Chinese company pretending to be in the USA that has been ripping people off for a long time according to the reviews.
But my efforts to find something similar from a reputable place have proven futile.

Any discerning furniture connoisseurs here that could lead me in the right direction?

You might want to look at the picture of their published address on Google Maps if you're in the market for a sofa instead of a child's bathing suit. I mean, I get it COVID-19 impacts a lot of businesses, but that's a stretch to be a furniture store.
Hope this transfers...

You know that image is not real right, it's a 3D interior design image... 😉

----------- some example what show it's not real ---------
The Blue ring on wall show same texture mirrored
Te open door at the blue X reflect as a open window on the floor by the bed, should been light all the way reflected.
The object only show shadow in one direction which is wrong, as there are two light sources the blue x open door and what ever is coming in from the left

This are the most obvious flaws in that picture that show it's not real, the grass out side at the blue X is probably the only real image used to enhance the image to look and feel real.
Not a very good job IMO.. Look nice but clearly a 3D made image.

So question is, does this sofa even exist at all, so might be hard to find one like it..

Here you have the 3D floor lamp model..

I usually use a search engine for the word "futon", I did a bit of research going to shops and testing them out a few years back but found them to be hella uncomfortable. When you get a compromise like that you get the words of both worlds, not the best. I have used many, but owned none.

I recommend going and seeing them in person in a furniture shop, they can be awful.

We've got a second hand L shaped sofa with a rectangle Pouffe which slides into the gap the L, making it a huuuuge bed surface which is sofa-comfy all the way across, no compromise, all sofa.

The only problem is where to put the Pouffe where you are not using it. It is an okay foot rest, but it's a 3x5 ft foot stool, you need space or storage for something like that.

Get individual super comfy reclining one seaters. Everyone will be happy as larry then!
My wife and I have opted for this solution.

Any discerning furniture connoisseurs here that could lead me in the right direction?
This morning I asked one of my kids and her husband to keep an eye out for something similar to what you are looking for. They are moving into a house they just bought, and want new furniture. It's funny as hell to watch though. She loves to decorate but is color blind, so her husband has to validate anything she picks. And he has the attention span of a gnat.

A male middle aged friend of mine bought a pair of sofas at a good price. When I saw them in his house I said "Ooh, I didn't think you'd be wanting Salmon Pink."

He looked at me and said "Salmon pink?! The salesman said they were terracotta!".

Yep, he was colour blind.

My wife is Asian, Filipino...
single-seater options will not fly with my wife lol
She likes to fall asleep on me and gets angry when I want my own space for too long when it is our time for watching a show together.

But I think two reclining power sofas that seat three people each could work.
La-Z-Boy has some for about $800 each
The reason why avoided looking at those is we plan to have more kids and well... kids are stupid and can get hurt easily around mechanical things.
Like reclining chairs. I imagine my inlaw dad reclined and not paying attention and a little one crawling under the foot thing and then he gets up and the thing swings down, pinching or seriously hurting my kid. You know, be prepared, think ahead, plan accordingly.

We have guests so infrequently that I don't mind the extra work to extend a fold-out futon design so long as the sofa itself is comfortable.
But... yea.. in front of the projector a reclining power sofa sounds so damn good, but I don't know... it would have to be electric and close/open slowly... not quickly like the manual ones.

Thanks, everyone for the help!
The hunt continues!

Ever thought about asking a professional carpenter in your area?
From my experience they aren't, compared to designer furnitures, more expensive.

Also this project doesn't look super complicated.
Funny you mention that as I am a carpenter. Local 1977.
I went through the apprenticeship program for stick framing, metal stud, concrete formwork, cabinets, and other finish work, door hanging, etc.
I helped build Wynn Casino, Trump Tower, City Center, and finish work in the Panorama Towers (Pamela Anderson had a suite there), and an addition to the local turd recycling plant.

My mentality is if I got paid $30 something an hour to risk my life building high rises in the elements, why the F should I pay some smhuck carpenter in a cozy shop $100+ an hour for a bookshelf.. seriously I called around for a custom bookshelf I wanted a while ago (which I could build myself had I the tools) just to see since I don't have access to a shop anymore... quotes were retarded.

Upholstery is not a common carpentry skill and custom sofa or designer sofa makers here in the World Trade furniture building are super expensive.
The markup with these types locally is retarded.

People charge insane markups here.

So I usually just buy products that economies of scale allow a fair price if I can help it at all.

I hear your pain! I was never a real carpenter, but woodwork was my hobby for 25 years. Giving it up has been one of the hardest things I've ever done. But I built almost all the furniture I had, and boats, gardens ... It was a great hobby.

Honestly i really wish i had just rebuilt the house vice renovating it but it would have been alot more complicated and there would have been alot more inspections done on it. Most likely though i would have saved alot of money(Especially since i did 90% of the rebuild). Pretty much short answer was i opened up the first few walls when i started in the kitchen and it turned out i had termites. they ate about 1/4 of the house(To this point there may be more i havnt finished the first floor yet though so i dont know) So pretty much i had to tear down a good portion of the house and rebuild it from the ground up. Also turns out disposing of stuff in japan is stupidly expensive i think in disposal alone ive spent at least 15-20k. With all that being said im getting close to the first floor being finished all the floors and walls have been rebuilt/improved in all rooms except 2 which im getting to soon. I have all the pipes run except 2 for the bathtub. I have all the materials making a huge mess all inside the house lol. It was supposed to be a simple drywall swap increase a couple room sizes and put some paint on the walls turns out it was much much much more.

It looks as though your awesome wife is looking to TESTify your living room. Cheers!

You know you have hit adulthood when the answer to furniture questions is no longer "futon from Ikea".
A TESTie can tell they married the right person when their partner enjoys TESTifying where possible in RL.

A male middle aged friend of mine bought a pair of sofas at a good price. When I saw them in his house I said "Ooh, I didn't think you'd be wanting Salmon Pink."

Aren't those both just different shades / hues of pink anyways?

The reason why avoided looking at those is we plan to have more kids and well... kids are stupid and can get hurt easily around mechanical things.

As somebody that as a small child would often be compared to a hyperactive chimpanzee based on how much I'd climb & jump on whatever I could, I'll state that it's impossible to fully childproof a home permanently. Do the best you can, teach them from an early age how to act & pray that things go as well as possible.

Forgive me if this seems a bit insane my friend, but given your incredible skills & a desire to have bedding that won't accidentally injure people (kids) as easily, have you given any thought to possibly building yourself 1 or more Murphy "hide-a-way" beds that would be up against the outer walls that you could build the framing for to match it to the walls so they just look extra thick? It would potentially allow you to pick whichever size mattresses you want to use based on the width allowed. Since they'd have build it legs that would drop down, you wouldn't have to worry about kids getting accidentally pinched underneath.

Don't you just love opening up a wall and realizing you stepped in something that is going to linger for a long time? Then again could you imagine if you were paying someone and they came back to report this to you?

I've been dreaming up designs for homes that I'd love to build for myself since I was a little kid. While many of the features that I've always wanted are now becoming moderately common place like heated flooring, 1 idea that I've had was to use the steel framing of prefab walls that would also have build in steel pipes that would lead to & from the various outlets to both protect the wiring from being damaged accidentally as well as to ease the replacement or upgrading of wiring should the time ever come, then have the rest of the space in the wall segments filled with fire retardant sound proofing insulation. Theoretically some of the plumbing lines could also be run within their own pipelines to contain & funnel the fluids to a safe place to be drained, but doing so would potentially cause a lot of problems down the line should a leak happen within the walls. So yes, I've always been a dreamer of various things, so my backing SC is nothing new for me. lols
