Hull A has been on the horizon and has been shown in a very short bit where it transforms so it looks like technically it's ready to be finished and released.Scorpios and Hull A coming?

ill bet you for it hahaha. even if its 5 bucks its still an increase. i can just feel it in my bones.I don't think the Hull A market can sustain a price increase. It's already $80 and the Lancer, which is twice the ship; is $110.
Scorpius may go up.
The thing about lancer, is it's literally twice the ship with just 18 SCU more.I don't think the Hull A market can sustain a price increase. It's already $80 and the Lancer, which is twice the ship; is $110.
Scorpius may go up.
Huh, now that you mention it, I do recall something like that having been mentioned.Actually the Lancer is the largest ship that will fit through a small wormhole, but you're right. The A does have an advanatge in that it can go places the Lancer cannot. It will be interesting to see if it gains a stealth advantage as well. The move to small avionics is not one in the right direction. I have to wonder if the recent nerf to the Lancer stealth is in preparation for the A release.
The A also has a very interesting weapons assignment package with the chin turret. You can imagine using it while parked. Highly unusual.
Nah, it's definitely 48 SCU. There was this video where they were showing off the almost ready Hull A, it had exactly 48 what seemed to be 1 SCU boxes loaded up. I'm like 99% certain about that figure.Wormhole size hasn't been talked about for years, with a good reason. I think it's not a metric they will be using, I think it will be a more granular scale.
There will be a price increase, there always is when a ship becomes flight ready I think. Possibly up to 95?
I'm also not certain about the cargo size, until the ship is actually released, any data on the website is just from the concept and more of a guideline, not an actual stat. So it may have more cargo space when released than the Lancer, so there will be a point to taking a hull A instead of a Lancer cos currently I don't see it.
I'm counting on the Hull A having some sort of unique advantage, like the ability to carry large-size or specialty cargo containers that the Lancer can't or sumthin. There needs to be some advantage to having a flying brick made of paper vs flying a fast well armed fortress.
Btw I couldn't care less about the scorpius. Just another fighter, bah...
Oh, well, that sux for me then. I'll be Very curious to find out what advantage it will have compared to a lancer for almost the exact same money...Huh, now that you mention it, I do recall something like that having been mentioned.
That's a bit confusing tbh.
I wonder if it's all small wormholes, or if there's like one or two that are just a tiny bit smaller or something. Like, XS wormholes.
Hmm... well, that certainly does diminish my argument.
Anyhow, it's still a solo ship with an truly exceptional cargo capacity.

But you're right, ships do tend to get a price bump when they finally do get flight ready. Especially the old ships.
Well, it's a single seater with a remote turret... could be it's just enslaved to the pilot, BUT, if it came as AI turret by default, that'd be freaking huge.Oh, well, that sux for me then. I'll be Very curious to find out what advantage it will have compared to a lancer for almost the exact same money...
Legitimately.. expecting it to have all small components, so lower operating cost. 'IF' the QT tanks are respectable it may find a well-paying niche.Oh, well, that sux for me then. I'll be Very curious to find out what advantage it will have compared to a lancer for almost the exact same money...
M gut feeling is that the Scorpius will definitely jump in price as it's released into the Verse as flyable. My best guess is that it'll land somewhere in the range between the Vanguard Warden to the Vanguard Harbinger.I don't think the Hull A market can sustain a price increase. It's already $80 and the Lancer, which is twice the ship; is $110.

This below is what they were planning about half decade ago. I'm only aware of a single update: 2-3 years ago there was a press release that the Vanduul had attacked and destroyed an Outsider outpost on Leir with a pair of Void Bombers. Void Bombers cannot fit through the small wormhole out of Vanguard, so that indicates the map is wrong or maybe just incomplete. We know it is incomplete, but it does give one reason to suspect this below is obsolete. Also technically, Leir is not a part of the UEE despite it is a human colony, so that is wrong as well.I wonder if it's all small wormholes, or if there's like one or two that are just a tiny bit smaller or something. Like, XS wormholes.
The Hull series had a recent price increase. The Hull A was 60, the B was 90 and the C was 250.expect a price increase before 3.17

I'm not sure when the increase happened, but it was IAE at the earliest.
looks like they are trying to get ahead of us lol. i think i bought my CCus for it before then though. The Hull series had a recent price increase. The Hull A was 60, the B was 90 and the C was 250.
