I got an amateur UK "B" licence in... god must have been 1998... did the test and everything, but I never actually carried on through to getting any of the kit or anything unfortunately and I can't even remember what my callsign was, all I can recall was it had a Juliet in it which I kept confusing for a Romeo.

Thank you the older pieces took some time to aquire plus they all had to be gone through and old capacitors and resisters replaced and some needed re aligned.

That actually was a jacket the picture was taken awround January 1979 we got married that same year.
